today i met this paper guy, stanley, in front of the met(ropolitan museum, new york). from california, he is a friend of jeffrey, a little boy whose aunt – hee sung – is taking stanley around with her, visiting new cities and taking pictures.

here i am with some friends of mine, funny paper birds by offumac.
sometimes they litterally jump off their paper, and come in my books and notebooks, like flying thoughts, pretending they can read as well… when they do that, it’s hard to go on working, but i like them.
i think i should start with a dedication, to the one who gave me my name – always reminding me who i really am, just a donkey – and who put my name in his last xmas card.
